Martin Luther King Jr.’s words have never been more relevant: “we’re now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now… This is not time for apathy or complacency.”
We must act now. According to The Democracy Index | Economist Intelligence Unit, democracy reach its peak in 2005. Since then, the world has lost 40% of its democracies. Since January 20, 2025, democracy promotion funding has fallen by 65%.
